I apologize for our Ezine being late this week.  We had some technical difficulties, but fortunately got they’re all resolved now.

I’d like to extend a special welcome for all our new subscribers!  We’re adding more people to our growing community every day, and that’s so exciting… and I’m so grateful to each and every one of you.

I just got back from Adam Urbanski’s seminar in Newport Beach, which was outstanding.  But it’s good to be back home, and this weekend, my daughter and I will be putting up our Christmas Tree.  Our weather is cooperating with the Christmas season… it’s freezing!

While we’re all nice and cozy in our houses, I’ll be holding my next teleclass, “3 Secrets to Magically Magnetize Men,” this coming Thursday, December 18th at 4pm PST/7pm EST.  Don’t you love it when all you have to do is pick up the phone, dial a number, sit back, listen and enjoy!

This is going to be such a fun class, and I have so much to share with you now that I’m back in the dating game (see my article below for the details).  We’ll be sending out the call-in info next Tuesday.  You’ll also have the opportunity to ask all your questions before the call, so I can make sure I answer them during the teleclass.

I had some big ‘aha’ moments while I was away, one of which had to do with my relationship with my boyfriend.  You can read about my discovery in this week’s article, “Are You Asking For What You Want?”

I had some time to reflect on my life over this past week. I realized there were parts of it that just weren’t supporting me as well as they could be.  One of them was my relationship with my boyfriend.  He’s a wonderful man, and I’ve enjoyed all the time we’ve spent together.  But I came to the realization that we are at two very different places in our lives.

He’s at a point in his life where he’s ready to settle down, live in one place the rest of his life, and retire in a few short years.  Although he doesn’t want to get married, or live with someone, he does want a partner who is available to him a great deal of the time.

I, on the other hand, have an active 13 year old, a vibrant and growing business, and a very full life.  I’m years away from wanting to retire, if ever.  I love what I do so much, I have my doubts I’ll ever want to stop.  And I have a lot of people in my life that I love spending time with… besides my daughter, there’s my mother, my friends, and a pretty terrific ex-husband as well.

I want a partner who is ready to grow with me and explore everything life has to offer.  I want a partner who has dreams, goals, and aspirations as big as mine, so we can share them together.  And I want a partner who is ultimately interested in getting married, because that’s important to me as a parent.
It would have been easy to stay with my boyfriend.  Our relationship was comfortable and relaxed, and he was very much in love with me.  But I knew in my heart that it wasn’t the right thing to do.

So today, after a loving conversation, we parted as very dear friends.  We hugged each other tightly, and he told me I was the right woman, just at the wrong time.  It’s all okay.  I’m ready to move on with a lot of love in my heart for him, and our time together.

I will take my own advice, gently put my toes back into the water of the dating game, and see what new adventures are in store.  I’ve set my intentions on the kind of partner I want to attract, and I can’t wait to see what unfolds.

Years ago, I never would have had the courage to ask for what I want in a relationship.  I either would have tried to morph myself into what I thought the guy wanted, or I would have clung to the relationship, even though it wasn’t fulfilling all my needs.

That’s not me anymore, thank heavens.  I know now I’ll never have what I truly want by trying to change who I am for someone else, or by clinging to a relationship just so I won’t be alone.  I have to let go so the Universe can bring me my heart’s desire.  I have to put myself back on the path, and begin the journey, one-step at a time.  Love is in the air… my job is to stay open to it.

The world is full of wonderful men.  I’ve had the pleasure of loving a few of them.  Now, I look forward to finding the next wonderful man to love.  If you’re on this journey to love as well, make sure you have the courage to ask for what you want.  It’s the only way the Universe knows you’re serious about finding the love that will fill your heart with joy.  And that is exactly what you deserve.
